Leigh Altshuler is the founder of Sweet Pickle Books, a unique bookstore in NYC’s Lower East Side. A former Strand Book Store employee, she opened the shop in November 2020, blending her love for literature with the neighborhood’s rich pickling history. Her vision turned Sweet Pickle Books into a quirky, beloved spot where books and pickles bring the community together.
